I was reading the Star newspaper and came across this green house in Tropicana, Selangor. It's built using recycled wood, uses solar panel roofs and has a storm water system. This is my dream home.
I've been searching for interesting cuffs to add to my jewelry collection and stumbled upon per te. Don't you just love these stunning cuff bracelets? I'm definitely going to start saving to own one. Visit Malaysian based per te to view their collection of necklaces, earrings and more.
How gorgeous is this cake? Visit Melody for the video tutorial. This will be on my must-try-to-make list. Although I'm not sure when that will be. Someday. Someday.
The most wonderful way to celebrate a loved one's birthday. And all you need are colourful tapes, string and paper. Everything else comes from the heart.
This is truly a fabulous idea for a party. Having a celebration and doing good at the same time. Read about Ashley and her kids who had a party to collect books for the hospital, here and here.
Would like to thank the people behind these blogs for mentioning my shop in their posts. And most of all to Huey for the write-up on Etsy Malaysia Blog. I really appreciate it.
( If you've mentioned my shop/ blog and would like to be included here, write me and I'll post it up next time. Thanks!)
When the articles editor of Brides magazine first wrote me mentioning her interest in my banners, I wasn't quite sure to believe her. The number 1 US bridal magazine wants to feature my simple paper craft? Is this for real? That was in March. Fast forward to last Saturday when I actually saw it in print, I was over the moon. Yay!
(Thanks Yolanda!)
**Banners are available in my etsy shop. On the page (bottom left corner) is the custom made 'save-the-date'.
Brides August 2010 issue has to be the best ever. Why you ask? Go to the bookstore, get hold of a copy of the US edition and turn to page 54 to find out. Or come back tomorrow to hear the news!
